2013 in Review

FLORIDA PREBORN RESCUE  2013 in Review

Christmas is a pro-life holiday! Jesus came to earth as a preborn baby to an unwed mother…and more than this, our Lord was considered by the world as an unwanted pregnancy. Today, as you read this newsletter, hundreds of women will enter abortion clinics across the state of Florida in much the same situation as Mary did all those years ago.
However, many of these women are alone, frightened and possibly feeling pressure from others into having an abortion. And sadly, many will go through with it.
For there are still too many abortion clinics in the state of Florida without a consistent, loving, pro-life, pro-Jesus presence.

Thankfully, the LORD has moved in the hearts of many in St Petersburg, FL and a growing, compassionate pro-life movement is rising! Christians of various denominations and movements are answering the call, getting trained in sidewalk counseling, and hitting the streets in the love of Jesus, to obey the Scriptural command to rescue  (Prov. 24:11).

Praising God for an Excellent 2013
Will you join us in thanking God for the following?

1.    Rebecca Fulwood said “yes” and we will be married on April 19, 2014.

2.    After a prolonged court battle, my three daughters will be staying in Florida and not moving to Oregon.

3.    FPR was represented at the Celebration of Life Tampa Bay in January.

4.    Scott preached at “Sanctity for Life Sunday” at the Tampa ARP Church in January.

5.    Scott taught three sidewalk counselling classes in St Petersburg to a total of 16 attendees.

6.    The average number of sidewalk counselors on Saturdays in St Petersburg increased from 3-4 every Saturday to 8-10.

7.  Gulf Coast Community Church (our home church) hosted the mid-point rally for 40 Days for Life St Petersburg, the first time a Protestant church has ever hosted this event. This is evidence of God's grace among His people!

8.    Due to the efforts of Florida Preborn Rescue, 200 women were offered help as they entered the abortion clinic, 30 received information, and three women chose life for their babies! And this is only on Saturdays! Please consider joining us monthly! When Scott is at full-support, these numbers will increase exponentially.
