What is Sidewalk Counseling?

 

Sidewalk counseling is the last legal line of defense for the preborn.

 

A sidewalk counselor graciously offers help and assistance to women and men entering abortion facilities. This help can come in starting a conversation or offering help. Since we are not legally are allowed in the parking lot, we must stay on the sidewalk and call out to those entering the clinic.

 

We have information about the gospel of Jesus Christ, and alternatives to abortion. In St Petersburg, a pregnancy center (Mary’s Outreach for Women) is located directly across the street from the abortion clinic.

 

Sidewalk counselors do not judge or condemn. We realize that God is the judge, not us. We also realize that He has commanded us to go and reach the lost and those who are “stumbling toward slaughter” (Prov. 24:11-12).

 

We continue to see results here in St Petersburg. Our most recent save was on March 10^, 2014. Last year, Florida Preborn Rescue offered help to 200 women. Over 30 took information, and three left the clinic without killing their babies. Glory to God!
